OPERATION
1-1. OUTLINE
The BKM-20853 is a probe for automatic white balance
adjustment,
designed
to be used with Sony color
video monitors provided with Auto Set-up System.
Standard
white stored at the factory
The color temperature of standard white, 6,500°K (for
North America and Europe) or 9,300°K (for Japan), is
stored at the factory.
Memory
of three desired color temperatures
Memories
1 to 3 are
available
for storing
color
temperature
data
extracted
from
a monitor.
The
stored data can be used as reference white. (Memory
life: more than 100 years)
1-2. NOTES ON VERSIONS
The BKM-2053
comes in three versions which differ
with respect to factory stored color temperature and
the phosphor chromaticity used in the monitor CRT.
Confirm the version of your BKM-2053 described on
the nameplate.
