Drawer Panels —
Free Standing Unit:
1. Disconnect power supply to compactor
before changing panel.
2. Tilt compactor toward rear. DO NOT LAY
UNIT ON ITS BACK OR DAMAGE TO
CORD MAY RESULT.
3. Remove three retaining screws in lower
drawer trim. Remove loosened trim and
slide panels out. HANDLE CAREFULLY SO
THE PANELS WILL NOT BE SCRATCHED
OR BENT. Replace panel so desired color is
exposed, making sure that handle trim
bezel is placed into slots in panels.
4. Replace trim and screws.
Do not operate compactor unless all
parts are fully assembled as injury
may result.

Laminated Maple Wood Top Conversion Kit
(Part #4164800) — A beautifully finished,
1-inch thick (25.4 mm), maple wood top is
available through your KitchenAid dealer.
The height of the Compactor with wood top
is adjustable from 35 ^,-inches (892 mm)
to 36%-inches (924 mm).
