To prevent shorts, be sure to disconnect the negative bat-

Installation Cautions
This unit features a built-in high-power amplifier, so when in-
stalled in a stacked configuration with a separately sold car
stereo, be sure to always position this unit on the top. When
this unit is installed below a car stereo, the heat generated
can cause damage to cassette tapes.
