Step 7 Install the new SPD. Clamp the clip at the lower side of the new SPD to the guide
rail, push the SPD upwards, and press it inwards.
Step 8 Connect the cables.
Step 9 Connect the SPD fuses FU9 and FU10.
Step 10 Close the protective panel and tighten the screws.
Step 11 Close the front door of the combiner cabinet.

8.3 Replacing a Power Indicator

Procedure
Step 1 Open the front door of the combiner cabinet.
Step 2 Loosen the screws on the protective panel of the indicator and open the protective
panel.
Take appropriate insulation measures to avoid electric shocks when opening the
protective panel.
Step 3 Disconnect the PSU fuses FU11 and FU12 and check that the power indicator is
off.
Step 4 Remove the power indicator.

Tools: electroprobe, insulated gloves, Phillips screwdriver, key to the combiner
cabinet door, multimeter, step ladder
Material: A new power indicator of the same model is available and
functional.

Loosen the screws at the rear of the indicator.
