The APFD 200 insert for reprocessing air regulators must be supplied
with pressure for reprocessing. The pressure ensures that wash water
cannot enter the air regulators during reprocessing, assuming the
correct adapters are used.
 Risk of infection
The compressed air must correspond to the quality of breathing air
as a minimum.
For this, observe the national and regional regulations concerning
compressed air.
 Risk of injury caused by compressed air
A flexible compressed air connection with defined quick-release
couplings must be provided on site.
Use a compressed air connection with one of the following quick-
release couplings:
– CEJN series 341
– Parker Rectus series 25S

Colour coding

The small parts of a dismantled air regulator are reprocessed in a
compartment of the small parts basket. Colour-code the compart-
ments and the ring holders or the load item carriers to ensure that the
small parts can be assigned to the right air regulators after repro-
cessing.
For each colour, attach one tag to the ring holders or the load item
carriers and one tag to the small parts basket compartments.
When using other systems for identification, ensure that these are
suitably chemical-resistant and temperature-resistant.
