4 16-Position Select Knob
This knob is usually programmed for channel selection.
5 On/Off/Volume Control Knob
Rotate clockwise until you hear a click to turn on the radio.
Rotate counterclockwise until you hear a click to turn off the radio.
Rotate clockwise to increase the volume.
Rotate counterclockwise to decrease the volume.

This switch is usually programmed for zone selection.

10 2-Position Concentric Switch
This switch is usually programmed to enable or disable secure operation.

11 Top Side (Select) Button
Use this programmable button to access a preprogrammed function or enable or dis-
able a feature.

Press and hold to talk in simplex calls or to initiate a group call, release it to listen.

Programmable Features

Your system administrator can program the programmable buttons as shortcuts to radio functions or
preset channels/groups depending on the duration of a button press. Some functions can also be
programmed to the radio switches.
