6. Press the play/direction button (or SET
button on the display unit).

@ The direction of tape travel will be displayed on the
display unit; select the desired direction of travel
by pressing the button.
@ Each time the button is pressed, the direction of
travel changes alternately to side A and side B as
shown below:

@ When loading the cassete tape in the cassette tray,
if the cassette is set with side A facing UP, the "for-
ward" direction (m) will correspond to side A and
the "reverse" direction (~<4} will correspond to side
B.
