Hardware Installation
4 Connect the supplied AC adapter to the AC power
jack on the external drive and plug the adapter into a
working power outlet.
Attaching the AC adapter to the external CD-RW/
DVD-ROM drive
The driver for the USB device is automatically
loaded by the operating system.
Insert the battery pack before using the drive.
For the best results, charge the drive using the
supplied AC adapter for at least one hour
before connecting it to your computer and
installing the driver software.
To work stably, the supplied AC adapter must
be connected to the External CD-RW/
DVD-ROM drive in all conditions.
