Do not place the base, water jug or teapot on or near hot surfaces,
e.g. cooker plates.

The tea maker is hot during operation and for some time afterwards.
Therefore take hold of the tea maker by the handles only and do not
open the lid until the tea maker is cold.
Use appliance only with lid attached.
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, basins or other
vessels containing water.
, Risk of suffocation!
Do not let children play with packaging material.

Important
– Use kettle 2 only with base 1 which
is marked with type WK5.
– Fill the kettle 2 with water only.
Milk or instant products will burn and
damage the appliance.
– Do not operate the kettle 2 without water
or overfill, observe min and max marks
(Fig. 5a).

– Use the kettle 2 with attached teapot 4
or lid7only, otherwise the kettle will not
switch automatically to keep warm
– If the kettle is not being used, always
switch off with the switch 10 or unplug.
Before using your appliance
for the first time
Unwind the power cord to the required

length and plug in.
Fill the kettle 2 with fresh water, attach

the lid 7 and place on the base 1.
Switch on the appliance by pressing

down switch 10 (Fig. 2).
Set the selection button 8 to Boil
(Fig. 3).
When the water has boiled, the selection
button 8 automatically switches to Warm
(Fig. 4).

Info: The illuminated ring 11 comes
on while the water is boiling and goes
out as soon as the water has boiled.
The indicator light 9 comes on during
the warming function only.
Repeat the process twice in order

to clean the kettle.
Rinse the teapot 4 with lid 6 and tea filter 5.

