The unit will turn the power on.

Connect the AC adaptor to
the DC IN 5V socket and
place the unit on the cradle.

Connect the unit to a PC
with a USB connection cable.
The hard disk access indi-
cator (green) flashes.
Whilst the unit is connected to the
PC, the screen below appears.
Note:
The operation buttons on the
main unit do not work if it is
connected to a PC. Disconnect
the PC to operate on the unit.
