Removal of Components

Access to many of the components listed is only possible once the front
panel has been removed (refer to Section 5.2) or by pulling out the
appliance and removing the drip tray.
5.4.1
Door Springs
1. Lay the appliance facing upwards on a soft surface.
2. Remove the plinth and the bottom service panel – refer to Section
5.2.4.
3. Remove the drip tray.
Note:
The group plug only needs to be disconnected from the float switch on
appliances where the float switch housing is mounted directly onto the
drip tray.
4. The springs; refer to Figure 5-7, Item 3, are now easily accessible and
can be replaced as follows:
a) Use an improvised tool, for example another door spring (Item 5)
b) Remove the spring together with the connector (Item 2) from the
