Operation

Preparation
■ Clean the individual components before
using for the first time.
■ Unwind the cord.
■ Place the appliance on a smooth, clean
surface.
Assemble the appliance X Fig. 1:
■ Place the container on the motor unit
and rotate in a clockwise direction until it
locks into position.
■ Insert the strainer basket and rotate
gently until it is situated fully on the
container.
■ Attach the pressing cone.
Pressing fruit
■ Press halved citrus fruit onto the press-
ing cone and hold fruit in position. The
citrus press starts running when the fruit
is pressed onto the pressing cone

Note: The pressing cone may rotate in a
clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. The
direction of rotation may change while the
fruit is being pressed.
If excessive pressure is applied, the press-
ing cone stops. Reduce the pressure until
the pressing cone restarts.
■ To switch off the appliance, reduce the
pressure on the pressing cone. The
citrus press switches off automatically.
■ Empty the full strainer basket.
