Installation and Usage
1 Remove the packaging and all tape (including the tape on the back of the printer). Pull out the paper tray completely and remove the tape from the
paper tray.
2 Hold the handle of the paper tray and pull out the rear baffle plate. Place the paper flat. If the paper cannot be placed flat or the paper is not stuck
on the baffle plates, hold the rear and left baffle plates to adjust their positions.
3 Push the paper tray back. Place the printer in a cool and well-ventilated place and ensure that there is more than 10 cm of space behind the printer.
Connect the printer to a power supply and press the Power button to power it on. (To power off the printer, press the Power button again.)
4 After you power on the printer, you can use it for photocopying. If you want to operate the printer on your phone or computer, download and install
the latest version of the HUAWEI AI Life app on your phone or the Huawei printer driver on your computer.
Safety Information
Please consult your doctor and the device manufacturer to determine if using your device may interfere with the operation of your medical device.
Avoid using the device in a dusty, damp, or dirty place, or near a magnetic field.
Use the device at a temperature between 5°C and 35°C and at a humidity between 20% and 80% (non-condensing). Store the device and its
accessories at a temperature between -20°C and +40°C and at a humidity between 30% and 93%. Extreme heat or cold may damage this device.
The power plug is used as the disconnect device. The socket-outlet shall be installed near the device and be easy to operate.
The power plug should connect to a socket outlet with an earth connection.
Unplug the power cord from electrical outlets and the device when not in use.
Do not block device openings. Reserve a minimum of 10 cm around the device to dissipate heat.
Keep the device and accessories in a well-ventilated and cool area away from direct sunlight. Do not enclose or cover your device with towels or
other objects. Do not place the device in a container with poor heat dissipation, such as a box or bag.
Keep the device away from sources of heat and fire, such as a heater, microwave oven, stove, water heater, radiator, or candle.
Stability risk: The device may fall over and cause serious personal injury or death. Do not place the device in an unstable position.
If you inhale unused or waste toner, gargle your mouth with plenty of water and go somewhere with fresh air. If toner enters your eyes, rinse
immediately with plenty of water and see a doctor if necessary.
Keep this device and its accessories that may contain small components out of the reach of children. Otherwise, children may damage this device
and its accessories by mistake, or swallow the small components, which may cause choking.
Do not place any object, such as a candle or a water container, on the device. If any foreign object or liquid enters the device, immediately stop
using it, power it off, and remove all cables connected to it. Then, contact a Huawei authorized service center.
Hot parts
Be careful of your fingers when you handle the parts.
Wait one and a half hours after switching off before handling the parts.
Warning:
Exercise caution when closing the top cover to avoid hurting your hands.
This device is not suitable for use in locations where children are likely to be present.
