How to Use the Carpet Shampooer/ Extractor
for Upholstery and Stair Cleaning

NOTE: If the cleaning solution and water are not released from the upholstery/ stair nozzle, there may be an air
lock. With unit in the Off position, raise the attachment handle above your head. Then engage the
attachment handle trigger for 4 seconds. Turn unit On to resume spraying.
NOTE: If you should encounter a clog in the Upholstery/ Stair Nozzle Filter:
1) Remove th e "M" shaped piece on the underside
of th e Uph olstery/ Stair Nozzle ( Use a small
screwdriver to pry loose) .
2) Clear and rinse any debris from the "M" shaped
piece by placing it under runn in g water.
3) Replace the "M" shaped piece in to the solution
tube then position and lock the piece into place.

D. Pull up an d h old th e solution release trigger an d pull
th e n ozzle backward at a moderate pace.
E. Release th e trigger at th e en d of th e stroke.
F. Lift nozzle and start again at the top. Apply one to three
sprayin g strokes. Avoid over-soaking the area.
NOTE:
As the nozzle moves over the sur face, the cleaning
solution sprays onto the sur face. At the same time
th e n ozzle picks up th e dirty water an d places it in
th e recovery tan k.
G. Move th e n ozzle over th e sur face several more times
without engaging the trigger. This removes excess water
an d h elps th e sur face dry faster.
