Programming If you select one of the melody ringer tones, the ringer tone continues to play for several seconds even if the caller has already hung up. You may either hear a dial tone or no one on the line when you answer the call. This feature allows the unit to automatically adjust the date and time each time caller information including date and time is received.
Programming Other programming Storing an area code to be deleted automatically In some situations, phone numbers stored automatically in the caller list (page 21) will include area codes. If you do not want to dial the area code when making calls from the caller list, you can store the area code which you want the unit to delete automatically.

Useful Information Voicemail service Voicemail is an answering service that may be offered by your phone service provider. This service can also record calls when you are unavailable to answer the phone or when your line is busy. Messages are recorded on the phone company system.
