Precautions for Lightning
The machine is vulnerable to lightning strikes.
In the event of an electrical storm, immediately stop
operation, and lower the dump body to the frame rail.
Evacuate to a safe place far away from the machine.
After the electrical storm has passed, check all of the
machine safety devices for any failure. If any failed
safety devices are found, operate the machine only after
repairing them.
Avoid Overloading
Do not exceed the maximum allowed payload (1.2×nominal
payload). The overloading raises the center of gravity position
and may cause overturning or long braking distance. It is very
dangerous and serious injury or death may result. Obey the
loading policy of Hitachi rigid dump truck. (Refer to the page
12-2 in the operator's manual.)
