Overview
The BKPF-113 video monitoring SDI distributer board
distributes a 4:2:2 component serial digital video
signal (525 or 625) or a 4fsc composite serial digital
video signal (NTSC or PAL) to four outputs and
converts the signal to an analog composite signal for
monitoring, which is supplied to four outputs.
The board is provided with a function to automatically
distinguish the formats of input signals between 4:2:2
component and 4fsc composite.
The board is designed to be installed and operated in
the PFV-D20, PFV-D50, PFV-D100A, PFV-D200A or
PFV-D300 digital video interface unit. The necessary
operating power is supplied via the interface unit.
The board is compatible in structure and power voltage
with other optional boards designed for the PFV-D20/
D50/D100A/D200A/D300 digital video interface unit.
The boards can be mounted in these interface units in
any combination.

For setting the switches on the boards, consult a
qualified service technician.

Functions of the BKPF-113
Input signal selection
This board accepts serial digital video signals of 4:2:2
component 525/625 and 4fsc composite NTSC/PAL
formats. Selecting the signal format is achieved
depending on the internal switch settings as follows:
NTSC/PAL: To be selected with an internal switch in
advance.
4:2:2 component/4fsc composite: You can select
either with an internal switch in advance.
Automatic selection can also be activated with the
same switch.
EDH (Error Detection and Handling) flag clear
function
The BKPF-113 has a function to clear EDH errors in
the input signal. The function can be activated by
setting the EDH flag clear switch on the board to the
ON position.
The function is especially effective when other boards
on the preceding stage do not conform to EDH. All
EDH errors that occurred on the boards at the
preceding stage can be cleared on the BKPF-113.
ISR function
This board conforms to the format of the ISR
(Interactive Status Reporting) system.
