To calculate the heat dissipation, the total power loss P
in a housing must be taken into account.

Note
A recommended value for the power loss of the operator control components is contained in the
"Technical data" section of the associated component (see "Power consumption").
Means of heat dissipation
Heat dissipation can take place as follows:
• Heat dissipation by natural convection
• Heat dissipation by natural convection and internal air turbulence
• Heat dissipation by open-circuit cooling
• Heat dissipation by open-circuit ventilation
