The Philips SenseIQ technology uses an infrared sensor to sense the hair's
temperature & adapt the temperature. The infrared sensor has been tested
in a room temperature of 23°C. Please note that in some instances, such as
when the room temperature is warm (i.e. above 30°C), or when the dryer
is used for a longer period of time in combination with an attachment, the
sensor can become warm. When this happens, the sensor of the dryer is
triggered and temperature will automatically drop to a lower heat setting. If
this occurs, you can either continue using the dryer at the lower heat setting
or simply turn off the dryer and let it cool completely before resume usage
for a higher temperature.
