Protecting the Boot Manager with a Password

To prevent accidental or unauthorized access to the information stored on
your Nokia EM5400 IP Security Platform appliance, you can require that the
user enter a password to access the boot manager install command. Use the
password command to set the password.

The password you enter gives you access to the install command in boot
manager, not access to IPSO.
To set a password
1. At the boot manager command prompt enter:
