Conventions
In these operating instructions, the SIMATIC IFP is also referred to as "Flat Panel" or
"device".
In these operating instructions, the terms "Windows Embedded Standard 2009" and
"Windows Embedded Standard 7" are also abbreviated with the term "Windows Embedded
Standard". "Windows 7" is used as an abbreviation for "Windows 7 Ultimate".
Figures
This manual contains figures of the described devices. The supplied device may differ in
some details from the figures. In some figures the IFP1500 Touch is shown as
representative for all Flat Panels.
