As on a m obile phone, each key is designed t o ent er several
let t ers wit h it . The posit ion of a let t er on a key capt ion indicat es
how oft en you m ust t ap t his key t o ent er t he respect ive let t er.
E.g., t o ent er an " S" , t ap t he " PQRS" key four t im es.
You need not ent er sm all let t ers or special charact ers when
ent ering a dest inat ion's cit y or st reet nam e. The Son y Pe r son a l
N a viga t ion Syst e m replaces t hese charact ers aut om at ically.
When you are looking for, e.g., a French cit y called " Héroïnès" ,
sim ply t ype " HEROI NES" .
