Slit short : Supplies electric power from the battery to the unit automatically when the external power
supply voltage is lower than the battery voltage.
Slit open : Supplies electric power from the external power supply to the unit irrespective of the voltage
level of the external power supply when the electric power is supplied from the external power
supply.
