 Inspection, repair and technical maintenance may only be
performed by a qualified technician and with the
necessary safety protections (gloves , shoes, etc).
 In case of damage or malfunction, immediately switch off
the machine and disconnect electricity, Never try to
disassemble but call technical service. It could cause
injury or further damage.
 Before removing any panels of the machine for
maintenance or to carry out any work. Make sure the
following are switched off: power supply, compressed
air and steam; moreover, the hot parts of the machine
must be left to cool and the compressed air in the
machine must be discharged.
 Always place the machine on a dry, flat and weight-
resistance surface. It is necessary to keep the unit in
horizontal position during operation.
 Do not place the machine near a source of heat (live
element, electric stove...) or inflammable materials
(explosive, ignitable gases...).
 Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clear. Danger of
overheating!
 Mark the working area (to encompass the machine with
fully extended moving parts); we recommend a minimum
distance of 60cm from the work area for maintenance, the
positioning of other machines and, if required, for
passage.
 Before connecting the machine, make sure that the
mains voltage and the frequency are the same as
indicated on the technical specifications and that the
electrical supply line must be fitted with an automatic

connections (power, water, steam, condensate and
air).
BURNS AND CRUSH HAZARD
 Identification hot areas:
1 – dummy
2 - connections and steam/condensation hoses
 The hot areas are covered with insulating material to
avoid burns in case of accidental contact; do not
remove them and use the machine only with this
material, replace when damaged.
 During functioning and until complete cooling, do
not touch the hot areas of the machine with bare
hands (with the exclusion of the working areas 1).
Turn the steam tap/knob using insulating gloves for
the heat.
