Automated Microphone Calibration using SCAL
System Requirement: Windows PC with running HICOSS V7.0 and SIFIT V7.0 installation or higher and HIPRO.
The hearing instrument requires the following SCAL components: SCAL Basic Jig (Order No. 7222529); Silicon cus-
hion Life (Order No. 10 417 430)
Please insert the device specific cushions into the SCAL jig. Top case cushion has two holes for inserting the fixing
pins.
Please insert battery into the device or connect it via battery pill to a constant voltage drive (1.3V). Connect ear
hook of the device with the end of the jigs' internal tube. Connect the programming cable with the device via
CS44 socket. Close the SCAL test jig as tight as possible. Start HICOSS and let HICOSS detect your device.
Push the SCAL button in HICOSS on the calibration folder.
A window will pop up and shows the test results after some time.
