VENTILATION SLOTS, THE INSIDE OF THE DEVICE WILL OVERHEAT AND

VENTILATION SLOTS OF EACH DEVICE TO ENSURE PROPER AIR FLOW
THROUGH THE VENTILATION SLOTS.

Caution: When carrying or packing the device and its optional units, wear a wrist strap
to prevent static electricity. Without a wrist strap, the device might be damaged
by static electricity.
NOTE: Place the GR4000 in a position where you can easily check the condition of the
front panel indicators.
- Protect cables by running them through a duct or by using a braid. Especially
for optical fiber cables, a cord bend radius of at least 100 mm in length and 50
mm in breadth is required, and they should be protected by metal braids.
- For optical fiber cables, leave a 3 m length of cable for maintenance. Wind the
rest of the cable and store it near the GR4000. If an optical fiber cable and other
types of interface cables coexist, do not stress the optical fiber cable, since it
can break.
