7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has
been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest Authorised Service Centre for examination,
repair, or adjustment.
8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or
injury to persons.
9. The Electric Kettle is only to be used with the base provided.
10. Do not use outdoors.
11. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of table or counter, or
touch hot surfaces.
12. To disconnect, turn any control to "OFF", then remove plug
from wall outlet.
13. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
14. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used
by or near children.
15. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after
use. Do not touch hot surface. Use handles.
16. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
17. The Electric Kettle should only be used to heat water.
18. Do not use the Electric Kettle without lid properly closed.
19. Do not use the Electric Kettle with a loose or weakened
handle.
20. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
21. Do not overfill Electric Kettle. If the Electric Kettle is
overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
22. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the
brewing cycles.
23. Do not clean Electric Kettle with abrasive cleaners, steel
wool, or other abrasive materials.
24. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section for instructions on
cleaning the surfaces in contact with food.
