Turning the unit on/off

When using the AC adaptor
! To turn on the unit
1 Charging starts when the AC adaptor is connected
(see page 7).
2 If the display is turned off, press any button.
3 With the display turned on, hold down the MENU or
ENTER button for 2 seconds or more.
Charging.
! To turn off the unit
1 If the display is turned off, press any button.
2 Hold down the RETURN button for 2 seconds or
more.
3 Disconnect the AC adaptor.

! To turn on the unit
Hold down the MENU or ENTER button for 4 seconds or more.

Note:
" " appears when the battery becomes low. Recharge

1 If the display is turned off, press any button.
2 Hold down the RETURN button for 2 seconds or more.
Charging.
The display turns off after approximately 10 seconds of
inactivity by default.

About auto-power off:
In the following cases, the unit turns off automatically
(when powered only by the battery).
1 After approximately 3 minutes of inactivity.
2 Approximately 3 minutes elapses after playback.
