What do I do if my device is not working properly?
Reset the device and reinstall it. To reset your device, press
and hold the Reset button until the LED blinks red.
During installation, ensure that:
• you have an Internet connection on your router
• your router' s Wi-Fi is on
• your mobile device is connected to your home network
• your mydlink Smart DIY hub* is connected to the Internet
Why does my sensor not trigger anything?
Avoid placing your sensor where it directly faces a source of
heat or light as this can obscure the sensor's ability to pick up
motion. Glass, plastic, or similar materials standing between
the target and the sensor may not allow it to be triggered.
The maximum detection distance is approximately 5 meters.
How do I replace the battery?
Remove the mounting bracket. Use a screwdriver to unscrew
the battery cover. Pull the small notch to release the battery.
