Feature Description
Standby Puts PC into power-saving mode (screen is blank but PC is still on). To
make screen reappear, press the Esc key, or press standby again. May
take 10–30 seconds before screen reappears.
Connect Goes to a Web site. Can be reconfigured to open a site or software
program.
Search Opens a Web site that helps you locate information on the Internet.
Can be reconfigured to open a site or software program.
E-Mail Starts your e-mail program. Can be reconfigured to open a site or
software program.
Compaq Links to Compaq Web site.
Help Opens the Help and Support Center.
Calculator Opens the calculator. Can be reconfigured.
Volume Adjusts volume.
Mute Mutes sound.
