Setting up IPP printing with Windows 98 and/or Windows Me
With Internet Printing Protocol (IPP), print jobs are sent to the ColorPASS over
the Internet.
IPP printing is supported directly on Windows 2000 but can be enabled on
Windows 98 and Windows Me computers by first installing the "wpnpins.exe" patch
file (available on the Windows 2000 Server Product CD). For information about
obtaining this patch, contact the Microsoft Corporation.
The IPP setup procedures are performed after installing the appropriate printer

page 2.
IPP printing is not supported on Windows 95.

EFORE YOU BEGIN
1. Prepare the ColorPASS for TCP/IP printing.
2. Make sure the ColorPASS is configured for IPP printing in Network Setup > Service
Setup > IPP Setup. For more information, see the Configuration Guide.
3. Specify the printing destination on your computer. See the following procedure.

1. Click the Start button, choose Settings, and then choose Printers.
2. In the Printers windows, double-click the icon for the ColorPASS PostScript printer
driver.
Choose Properties from the File menu.
