Troubleshooting

This chapter summarises the most common problems you could encounter with the appliances. If
you are unable to solve the problem with the information below, contact your local Consumer Care

Problem
The appliance
does not work.
I cut some
ingredients with
the appliance, but
the ingredients
are mashed.
The appliance is
clogged.
Recipe
Parmesan crackers

250g of Parmesan cheese

Shred the Parmesan cheese (without rind) with the shredding disc.

Place small heaps of Parmesan on a baking tray and bake them in a preheated oven (200°C)
for 8 minutes.
Possible cause
The appliance is not plugged
in.
The appliance is not
assembled properly.
The mains cord is damaged.
It is possible that cooked
and/or very soft ingredients
get mashed when you use
the appliance to cut them.
You are processing
ingredients that are too
hard or too soft.
Solution
Put the plug in the wall socket.
The appliance only works if the bowl with
spout and the lid with feeding tube is fixed
and locked. Check if the lid with feeding tube
and the bowl with spout are properly fixed
and locked.
If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it
replaced by a service centre authorised by
Philips.
Do not process very soft ingredients in the
appliance.
Unplug the appliance, remove the lid with
feeding tube and gently remove the
ingredients with a spoon or spatula.
