BIOS Settings

The BIOS Setup utility is a hardware configuration program built into your
computer's Basic Input/Output System (BIOS). Since most computers are
already properly configured and optimized, there is no need to run this
utility. However, if you encounter configuration problems and get the "Run
Setup" message, you will need to run this utility.
Note: To maintain optimal computer performance, it is recommended
that you retain the default system configurations in the BIOS Setup
utility. If you want to adjust these configurations, contact your dealer or
qualified service technician for assistance.
Entering Setup
Power on the computer to start the system POST (Power On Self Test)
process. While booting, press the Del key. The "Setup Utility" Main menu
then appears:
Note: Choose Load Default Settings for best performance with light
system loading.
The section at the bottom of the screen tells how to control the screen. Use
the arrow keys to move between items, ESC to exit, and F10 to save the
changes and exit. Another section at the bottom of the screen displays a
brief description of the highlighted item. After selecting an item, press Enter
to select it or enter a submenu.
