General safety instructions
DANGER: Risk of burns
 Never
touch the kettle (4) housing during or immediately
after operation. Only ever hold or carry the kettle (4)
using the handle (8).
 When
the water boils, hot steam will be emitted. Be
careful not to burn yourself. Wear oven gloves if
necessary. Rotate the kettle (4) so that the steam is
directed away from you.
Clean the kettle (4) only after it has completely cooled
down.
Fill the kettle (4) with 1.7l of water maximum. See the
water level indicator (3) to help with this. Overfilling can
result in the kettle boiling over and could cause burns or
damage to property.
Only boil water with the lid (10) closed. Otherwise the
water could boil over and cause burns and property
damage.
