Calibration of the detector
3Calibration of the detector
General:
The detector is to be calibrated:
-
every 26 weeks.
-
In the event of an excessive amount of pixel dropouts on images displayed in the
image preview window.
During the calibration procedure 4 images must be exposed.
Prerequisite
•
Remove the grid if applicable
•
Center the tube unit above the detector.
•
Set an SID of 150cm
•
Use the most common X-ray parameter used by the customer, e.g. 70 kV,
1.8 mAs at the MOBILETT XP Digital.
Procedure
•
Select "SYSTEM/CALIBRATION" from the application UI.
•
Enter, e.g., the following parameters in the exposure data boxes = 4 exposure; 70KV;
1.8 mAs, SID 150cm
•
Be sure the detector is centered with respect to the tube without any objects between
them.
•
Click on "Start" to begin calibration.
•
Follow the instructions given by the system.
X
4 exposures are used to calibrate the system. No error messages should appear. After
the calibration procedure, the successful calibration is announced.
If the calibration error message "Too much/little dose" or "Collimator is used" is displayed,
perform calibration again after adjusting the X-ray exposure condition, for example by
increasing or reducing the mAs or KV settings.
If calibration fails again, try the self-test procedure described in this document or contact
the Uptime Support Center.
•
Exit the program via "Exit".
•
