1-8. Auto Filter Cleaning Function This unit is equipped with the plunger solenoid by which cleaning of the electrostatic filter is performed automatically when the power of this unit is turned off. This function is operated only when the power of this unit is turned off.

Procedure 1. Blow off the dust and dirt adhered to the surface of the in-polarizer (G) assembly and in-polarizer (B) assembly using the air dust spray. 2. Perform the cleaning of the in-polarizer (R) assembly. The in-polarizer (R) assembly uses the organic polarizing film. Therefore, you can wipe off the dust and dirt on it.
3. Attach the in-polarizer (R)/(G)/(B) assemblies. The in-polarizer (R)/(G)/(B) assemblies do not require adjustment. Attach the in-polarizer (R)/(G)/(B) assemblies so that each screw is located in the center of the elon- gate hole. In-polarizer (G) assembly The screw is located in the center of the elongate hole.

Procedure 1. Remove the two hooks, then remove the dust cover (MIRROR). 2. Remove the five screws, then remove the unit cover. 3. Remove the B transmission dichroic mirror, G reflection dichroic mirror and R channel mirror. 4. Wipe off the dust and dirt adhered to the removed optical parts on both sides with the tissue paper dampened with drinking water.
5. Blow off the dust and dirt adhered to the optical parts that are not removed from the unit using the air dust spray. 6. Sweep out the dust and dirt adhered to the parts using the brush being careful not to touch the B channel mirror.

1-10. Function for Service (Network) 1-10-1. Outline This unit is provided with a network terminal. Using a Web browser, it can check the state of a projector and control and set the network blocks. Additionally, this unit has Update function through a network as a service-dedicated function. .
