Remove the top cover from the VCR, then remove the
board retainers (1) and (2).

Remove the SY-220 board from the DSR-85/85P VCR, or
remove the SY-241 board from the DSR-80/80P/60/60P
VCR.
Seen from the front of the VCR, the SY-220/241 board is
in the following slot. Check that it matches the "NSY"
indication engraved in the top of the slot frame.
SY-220 on the DSR-85/85P: rightmost slot
SY-241 on the DSR-80/80P: second slot from the right
SY-241 on the DSR-60/60P: second slot from the right
Raise the levers, then
pull out the board.
Note
After removing the board, place it carefully on a level
surface such as a workbench, with the metal cover
underneath.
