Software Recovery

All Windows 2000 and Strata CIX PC Attendant Console software is pre-loaded at the factory
before shipment. Use the following steps if it becomes necessary to reload the software.
Note It is required that you back up your system prior to starting this uninstall procedure. You
should also make sure that you have the correct version of the windows software for your
system.
If you have an earlier version of Attendant Console software on your hard drive, uninstall it using
the instructions in
2: Install SNMP Service" on page
Step 1: Uninstall CTX Attendant Console Software
Stopping NHSProvider Frame Service
Step 1A:
1. Exit all open programs.
2. From Windows, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
3. Open Administrative Tools and then Services.
4. Locate and open NHSProviderFrame.
5. Change Startup Type to disable, click OK.
Remove the CTX/CIX PC Attendant TSP Driver
Step 1B:
1. From Windows, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Open Phone and Modem Options, and select Advanced tab.
3. Remove Strata IP Attendant TSP.
Uninstall CTX/CIX PC Attendant Console software.
Step 1C:
1. From Windows, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Open Add/Remove Programs.
3. Select CTX Attendant Console, and click Change/Remove.
4. Follow the Uninstall prompts.
Uninstall MSDE
Step 1D:
1. In the sys tray on the Windows taskbar, double click on SQL Server Service Manager.
2. Stop the SQL Server.
3. From Windows, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
4. Open Add/Remove Programs.
5. Select MSDE, and click Change/Remove.
6. Follow the Uninstall prompts.
7. Reboot the computer.
8. Delete the PC Attendant folder located "\Program Files\Toshiba"
