8.4 DMZ
If external users can't access certain network services provided by the

Local Area Network (LAN), use the DMZ function to set the client that
provides the required network services as the DMZ host. External users
will then have access to all the services. Note that clients in the DMZ will
be exposed to WAN traffic. Apply DMZ host IP address in the provided
field and click "apply" to instate the function.
8.5 WAN Ping
The WAN port of Predator Connect X5 will respond to ping requests from

the Internet that are sent to the WAN IP address. By switching WAN port
ping, your device will respond to ping. For improved security, switch off the
WAN ping when not in use.
