Installing the analyzer modules and option module
5.3 Installation of the analyzer modules
Connecting
1. Connect the option module OM 2.1 to the analog current interface of the analyzer module
2. Connect the processing unit (PU) to the CAN interface on the AM-PCB
3. Make sure that power is provided to the AM-PCB from the power supply unit
4. Install the housing cover.

Tightening the cap nuts
Tighten the cap nuts with a torque of
• 2.5 Nm.
5. Connect the gas connections, see Gas connections (Page 44).
6. Check the sample gas path for leaks, see Checking the sample gas path for leaks

Reference gas line
Make sure that the reference gas line has the following characteristics at measuring
spans of < 2% oxygen: The smallest possible cross-section (e.g. pipe diameter 2 mm) of
metallic material (e.g. stainless steel).

CAUTION
Cable damage
Make sure that the cables are carefully laid and secured again after you exchange an
analyzer module. Otherwise, the cables may be damaged as a result of friction or other
mechanical effects, see Cabling (Page 34).
