Shortening the
plastic hose
The plastic hose of the A 867 nozzle must be cut to the height of the
viscometers.
To do this, place the viscometer with the capillary tube on the

nozzle with the plastic support. The viscometer must rest on the
plastic support.
Turn the viscometer until the filling tube is alongside the plastic

hose.
The plastic hose must end above the container (reservoir, bulb) in the
connection piece between the capillary tube and filling tube. For re-
processing, it is important that the hose is cut to a point.
With sharp sturdy scissors, carefully cut the plastic hose at an angle

of approx. 45° in the direction of the nozzle to form a point at the
end of the hose. The lower end of the hose must be pointing to-
wards the nozzle.
