▸ Never throw batteries in a fire or
water�
▸ Do not expose the batteries to any
mechanical loads�
▸ Leaking batteries could damage the
device� If a battery should leak, re-
move it immediately from the device
to prevent damage� Be particularly
careful when handling damaged or
leaking batteries and wear protec-
tive gloves�
▸ Avoid contact with the skin, eyes
and mucous membranes� In the
event of contact with battery acids,
wash the affected area immediately
with plenty of fresh water and seek
medical attention straight away�
Avoid exposure to extreme condi-
tions and temperatures which could
affect the batteries, e.g. on radia-
tors or in direct sunlight�
▸ Only use batteries of the type spec-
ified.
▸ Switch the device off and remove
the batteries if the device will not be
used for a longer period�
