Changing the Batteries

1� Remove the cover of the battery
compartment (2).
Important! Risk of damage to the
device through reverse poling when in-
serting the batteries.
▸ Pay attention the batteries are cor-
rectly aligned when inserted.
2� Insert the batteries in the battery
compartment (2) ensuring correct polarity.
3� Replace the cover of the battery
compartment (2).
During the course of a change of batteries, all cus-
tomized settings remain stored for 10 minutes. The
date and time must always be set anew (refer to
Section Setting the Date and Time on Page 81).
Error Message F1 Appears in the
Display
The valve movement is sluggish. Check if the
radiator valve is blocked.
Error Message F2 Appears in the
Display
The adjustment range of the radiator valve is too
large. Check that the radiator valve is properly
fitted.
Error Message F3 Appears in the
Display
The adjustment range of the radiator valve is too
small. Check if the radiator valve is blocked or the
valve resistance is too high.
