1.3 Rules and Conditions

Installation and operation
Installation must only be carried out by trained and skilled personnel. Please follow your local
regulations concerning installation.

Operation of the devices is not intended for personal, family or household use and applications.
The devices are supplied by SELV circuits (Safety Extra Low Voltage) in which hazardous voltages are not
generated. Thus, special safety measures are not required.
To put the sounder of the FNM-320 series into operation:
Mount and connect the sounder to the fire system by wiring it to the conventional line.
To put the sounders of the FNM-420 series into operation:
1. Mount the sounder and connect it to the fire system.
2. Configure the device with the remote programming software (RPS) of the panel.
There are no restrictions of using the devices in commercial or industrial areas.
The temperature range as described in the table below must be followed.
