Appendix E

Hardware Setup

You can use an external serial port connector and null modem cable to setup the
ARMC/2 to perform Serial over LAN operations. To do this, you must have an external
9-pin serial port connector and cable plugged into the ARMC/2 card's serial port
connector at JP2. Once the external 9-pin serial port connector is installed and secured to
the chassis, attach the null modem cable as illustrated below:
