SOLUTION/IMPROVEMENT
Torx screws (T10)
• strong thread-locking compound (e.g. Loctite 2701).
• torqued by 0.6Nm.
Transformer brackets
• further milled in the bolt head area.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Remove the Pulse transformer from the electrical cabinet; untighten the four T10 torx screws
which fixate the transformer to its two brackets. Then carry out following service actions:
• Mill/smoothen down the bolt head area on the two transformer brackets with a suitable file,
or simply replace the two brackets.
• Apply strong thread-locking compound on bolt threads (e.g. Loctite 2701).
• Re-tighten the four screws with 0.6Nm.
According to the procedure when/during:
• A scheduled service interval (100, 250, 500 or 1000 hour service).
• A customer complaint is noted related to described symptom/description.

• Any given occasion.

PROCEDURE
Tools required: T-handle Allen key 3mm (min length160mm) & small scale torque wrench.
Remove the Pulse transformer according to the DXR 140/2xx/3xx workshop manual.
