Problem

Cause and remedy
The main filter no longer works and must be replaced.
Contact the Miele Customer Service Department or re-

place the main filter (see "Cleaning and care – Filter re-
placement"). In order to temporarily achieve the original
air throughput when the main filter has stopped working,
the air throughput rate can be manually increased until
the filter is replaced (e.g. by changing the room size from
60 m² to 80 m² in the Settings menu or by manually in-
creasing the fan speed).
This message can be hidden temporarily by pressing the 
and  buttons briefly at the same time (<1 sec).
The internal thermal sensor is defective.
