Using the Configuration Menu (continued)
Main Screen > Settings > Network > Wireless Site Survey > Wireless
Settings
The Wireless Settings screen controls the following wireless connection and
encryption settings on the DVC-1100:
SSID
Auth Type
WEP Type
i2eye AP
The name of the selected wireless device from the
Wireless Site Survey screen. This name can be
entered or edited using the on-screen keyboard (e.g., if
the SSID broadcast feature on a wireless device was
disabled and the SSID did not appear on the Wireless
Site Survey screen). The connection status for the
selected SSID device is displayed next to the SSID
(Connection OK or Connection Failed).
Select one of the following authentication modes:
Open Key: Communicates the key across the network.
Shared Key: Allows communication only with devices
with identical encryption settings.
The WEP Encryption key can be set to 64, 128 or 256
bit-length. The WEP Type must match the WEP
encryption bit-length on the wireless network.
