Messages
Delivery report: when this option is enabled, the
network informs you whether or not your message has
been delivered.
Read reply: when this option is enabled, your phone
sends a request for a reply along with your message to
the recipient.
Receive settings
You can set the default settings for receiving a
multimedia message.
The following options are available:
Home reception/Roaming reception: you can set
whether or not your phone retrieves new incoming
messages from the MMS server without notifications
when you are in your home service area or when you are
roaming in another network.
Manual: the phone receives notifications and you need to
manually download new messages by using the
Retrieve option.
Automatic: the phone automatically retrieves new
messages from the server.
Reject: the phone rejects all incoming messages.
Anonymous reject: when this option is enabled, the
phone rejects messages from anonymous senders.
Adverts reject: when this options is enabled, the phone
rejects advertisement messages.
Report allowed: when this option is enabled, the
sender of an incoming message receives a delivery
report from the network.

MMS profiles
You can configure various network settings that are
required when you send or receive multimedia
messages.
Notes:
• The last profile you accessed is automatically activated for
sending subsequent messages.
• If you change the MMS settings without first checking with
your service provider, the MMS feature may not work
properly.
The following options are available:
Current profile: allows you to select one of the profiles.
Profile setting: for each profile, the following options
are available:
Profile name: enter the name that you wish to assign to
the MMS server.
Server URL: enter the address of your MMS server.
Proxy: when this option is enabled, you can connect to
the GPRS network using the proxy server.
GPRS settings: the following options are available:
- IP address: (When the proxy is set to enable) enter the
gateway address required to connect to the GPRS
network.
- Port: (When the proxy is set to enable) enter the port
number required to connect to the GPRS network.
- DNS1: (When the proxy is set to disable) enter the
primary address required to connect to the GPRS
network.
- DNS2: (When the proxy is set to disable) enter the
secondary address required to connect to the GPRS
network.
- APN: enter the access point name used for the address
of the GPRS network.
