^ Insert the residual water container after a short interval
(approx. 20 seconds) so that it clicks into place.
The 2 indicator light will go out.
The residual water container must not be removed during
the rest of the descaling process unless the 2 indicator
light comes on. Otherwise hot water could spill out and
cause injuries and/or damage to the appliance.
The k indicator light comes on.
^ Remove the water container and fill it up to the k
mark with fresh tap water (approx. 25 °C to 35 °C). Add a
Miele descaling tablet (see "Optional accessories") to the
water container.
Follow the instructions for the mixing ratio carefully. It is
important that you do not fill the water tank with less or
more water. This would cause the descaling process to be
cancelled prematurely
^ Replace the water container and after a short interval
(approx. 20 seconds). The k indicator light will go out.
